Works in safe mode, not in normal. I ran CWShredder (didn't find anything), SpyBot (found some cookies and a few registry keys), but that didn't help either. Ctrl-alt-deldoesn't do anything either. Sorry it it's not relevant - my knowledge about computers and IT is minimal.

If removing the startup items didn't correct the issue then it may be a Microsoft service causing the issue. nActually I had this problem. I was able to get into safe mode where everything was fine. Done!
I'm trying to restore it to factory settings now, hopefully that works...
