I f I plug my iphone in (or any other device) the connections flashes in and out in 2 sec intervals. Just navigate to the services key, and in the toolbar click on Edit > New > Key.

It worked for me. Windows should automatically re-install the USB controllers, without you having to do anything. USBview is showing that there is a ‘USB Composite Device' on Port 3, eventhough there are no USB devices plugged in.
