I would contact Protools tech support to find out if it is installed by their software. Looked in the event viewer and I see this: Faulting application name: Photoshop.exe, version: 188.8.131.52, time stamp: 0x50e86403 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18015, time stamp: 0x50b83b16 Exception code: 0xc06d007e Fault You then burn the image to a CD and boot from the CD. Where can I find to change the voltage, feels like I searched everywhere in BIOS?Another question about the timings, in DRAM Timing Control I select 'Manual'.
But ok, glad you got it working again. Both are rated at 1066MHz and 5-5-5-15 timings. Any other suggestions as to what the cause might be for PS to crash? Please Help!
- Both are rated at 1066MHz and 5-5-5-15 timings.
- Please help, tried everything.
- Then rather than load Windows, I get a blue screen (but not a BSOD – with words and information to go on) with a cursor and three DOS screens pop up:
- Could it be that I need some software from Asus to change my DRAM voltage inside Windows?
- It is possible that another device on the system could also cause it via direct memory access (like a disk drive or video card), but those are not quite as common.
- One is rated at 2v and the other is rated at 2.2v.
- What have you changed on your system around the time that it started crashing?
